NAALM strives to build the required infrastructure to support and sustain:

Training of qualified professionals in niche areas of diagnostic laboratory medicine.
Identifying and launching research projects with focus on translational research that would bridge the gap between the scientist and physician.
Providing cost effective proficiency testing solutions and support to cover a wide range of routine and specialised laboratory tests including molecular tests and genomics.

Academics

The diagnostic world is always on the lookout for qualified professionals who have the skill and expertise to perform lab tests with ease and precision. With sophisticated laboratory infrastructure within our reach, the need for professionals who can handle advanced equipment is on the rise. However, there is a dearth of training institutes in Bangalore offering hands-on training programmes.NAALM’s academic wing was started to fill this void and bring in more qualified professionals to the industry. This initiative will be spearheaded by Dr.Jayaram and Dr.Sujay, both experts in their respective fields and inspiring mentors with a passion for teaching. NAALM has aligned with Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Advanced Health Education and Research (SDUAHER), Kolar, for a 1-year Post-doctoral fellowship in Laboratory Medicine. Proposals are also being made to have shorter fellowships in specialised areas such as advanced haematology, advanced biochemistry, cytogenetics and molecular biology.
